Start from the Mechelen train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road (Koningin Astridlaan). Turn left onto Koningin Astridlaan and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Mechelen city center. Continue straight until you reach the Sint-Rombouts Cathedral. From there, take the street to the left of the cathedral, which will lead you toward the city square. The Grand Place in Brussels is about a 30-minute train ride, so when you reach the train station, purchase a ticket to Brussels Central (Brussel-Centraal). Once you arrive at Brussels Central, exit the station and head towards the main street (Rue des Bouchers). Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the Grand Place.
