    From the center of Mechelen, head southeast towards the Mechelen train station. This is approximately a 15-minute walk. Once at the station, take a train towards Brussels. The journey will take around 25 minutes. Get off at Brussels-South (Bruxelles-Midi) station. From there, follow the signs to the Metro. Take Metro Line 2 towards Simonis and get off at the 'Parvis de Saint-Gilles' stop. Exit the station and walk west on Rue du Parvis de Saint-Gilles, then turn left onto Rue Américaine. The Horta Museum will be on your right at number 27.

    Bus

    From the main square in Mechelen, walk to the bus stop 'Mechelen - Veemarkt'. Take Bus Line 1 towards Brussels. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Brussels - Parvis de Saint-Gilles'. From there, walk to Rue Américaine by heading north on Rue du Parvis de Saint-Gilles and then turning left onto Rue Américaine. The Horta Museum will be located at number 27 on your right.
