If you are starting from Mechelen's city center (St. Rumbold's Cathedral), head southeast on the 'Grote Markt' towards 'Mechelen' street. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach 'Melaan'. The Melaan is located just past the intersection with 'Burchtstraat'. It should take around 8-10 minutes to walk there.
Public Transport
From the Mechelen train station, take bus line 2 towards 'Korenmarkt'. Get off at the 'Leuvenseweg' stop, which is just a short 5-minute ride. Once you exit the bus, walk back towards Leuvenseweg Street and turn right. Continue walking straight for about 300 meters until you reach 'Melaan'. The total travel time, including waiting for the bus, is approximately 20 minutes.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the city center. Start from the Grote Markt and cycle towards 'Grote Nieuwedijk' Street. Continue straight until you hit 'Leuvenseweg', then turn left. Cycle for about 1 kilometer and you'll find 'Melaan' on your right. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your speed.
