    Getting There

    Bus

    From the Mechelen city center, walk to the Mechelen Bus Station located on Stationstraat. Take bus line 500 (or 400) towards Tervuren. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Tervuren Leuvensesteenweg' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Park van Tervuren. Head east on Leuvensesteenweg, and you will see the park entrance on your right.

    Train and Bus

    Walk to Mechelen Train Station, which is located at Stationsplein 1. Take a train towards Brussels Central and get off at Tervuren Station (around a 20-minute ride). Once you arrive at Tervuren Station, exit and walk towards the bus stop. Board bus line 315 or 316 towards 'Tervuren Leuvensesteenweg'. Get off at the 'Leuvensesteenweg' stop. The park entrance will be just a short walk away, to your left.

    Walking

    If you prefer to walk, you can enjoy a scenic route by heading towards the Mechelen Train Station. From Mechelen’s center, walk to the station, then follow the signs towards the Canal. Walk along the canal path until you reach the outskirts of Tervuren. This route is approximately 10 kilometers and will take around 2 hours. Make sure to stay on the designated paths and enjoy the nature around you as you approach Park van Tervuren.
