Walking
Start at Mechelen's main square (Grote Markt). From there, head southeast on Melaan towards the Korenmarkt. Continue straight until you reach the train station (Station Mechelen). Once you arrive at the station, take a train to Brussels Central. Make sure to check the train schedule for the next train. Upon arriving at Brussels Central, exit the platform and follow the signs for the metro. Take the metro line 1 (direction Stockel) and get off at the 'Vivier d'Oie' station. From there, exit the metro and walk northwest towards Rue du Rouge-Cloître. The Red Cloister will be on your right at Rue du Rouge-Cloître 4.
Public Transport
From Mechelen, go to the Mechelen train station. You can take a train to Brussels Central Station. Once at Brussels Central, transfer to the metro line 1 (direction Stockel). Get off at 'Vivier d'Oie' metro station. After exiting the metro, walk northwest on Rue du Rouge-Cloître for about 5 minutes. You will reach the Red Cloister at Rue du Rouge-Cloître 4 on your right.
