From the center of Mechelen, start at the Mechelen train station. Exit the station and head southeast on 'Korenmarkt' towards 'Plein', continuing straight until you reach the 'Grote Markt'. From there, follow the signs to the bus station. Take bus number 500 towards Antwerp. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Antwerp's central station. Once you disembark, exit the station onto 'Koning Astridplein' and head towards 'De Keyserlei'. Continue straight until you reach 'Meir', then follow the signs towards 'Zurenborg'.
Bicycle
Start at the Mechelen train station and rent a bicycle from one of the local rental stations. Cycle southwest on 'Korenmarkt' and then take 'Antwerpsesteenweg' heading directly towards Antwerp. Follow the bike path along the road for approximately 20 kilometers (about 1 hour). Once you reach Antwerp, navigate towards 'Zurenborg' by heading towards 'Meir' and then follow the local signs.
Public Transport
Begin at Mechelen train station and purchase a ticket for the train to Antwerp. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Antwerp Central Station, purchase a tram ticket for tram number 10 towards 'Hoboken' or tram number 2 towards 'Linkeroever'. Get off at 'Zurenborg' stop. From there, you can easily walk to the Zurenborg area, which is a short 5-minute walk.
