    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Mechelen city center, head towards the main square, Grote Markt. Once you reach the square, look for the direction signs pointing towards the train station (Station). Walk straight on the Main Street (Bruul) until you reach the intersection with the station road. At the intersection, turn left and continue until you see the Mechelen train station. From there, take a train heading towards Leuven. The journey is quick, taking about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Leuven station, exit the station and head towards the main road, which is Naamsestraat. Continue straight until you reach Herbert Hooverplein, which will be on your right after approximately 10 minutes of walking.

    Public Transport

    Start at Mechelen train station. Purchase a ticket for Leuven at the ticket machine or counter. Take any train heading to Leuven; trains run frequently throughout the day. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Leuven train station, exit the station and follow the signs for the city center. Walk straight down Naamsestraat, which will lead you to Herbert Hooverplein in about 10-15 minutes. Look for the square on your right as you approach the center.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental stations in Mechelen. From the center of Mechelen, head towards the main road leading out of the city. Follow the designated bike paths that lead towards Leuven. The route is approximately 10-12 kilometers and should take around 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival in Leuven, continue straight until you reach Herbert Hooverplein. The square is a well-known landmark, making it easy to find.
