Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Yvoir. Head northwest on Rue de la Station toward Rue de la Meuse. Continue onto Rue de Poilvache. Follow the signs for Poilvache Castle. The castle is located at Chem. de Poilvache, 5530 Yvoir. There is parking available near the entrance, but please note that it may fill up quickly during peak tourist times. Be sure to check for any parking fees, although generally it's free.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, take a train to Yvoir station from major cities such as Namur or Dinant. Once you arrive at Yvoir station, you can take a local bus (Bus number 16) to the stop called 'Yvoir - Poilvache'. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to the castle. Follow the signs leading to Chem. de Poilvache. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as it may not run frequently on weekends.

• Walking

  If you are already in Yvoir and prefer to walk, head towards Rue de la Station and continue onto Rue de Poilvache. The castle is about a 30-minute walk from the town center. The scenic route takes you alongside the Meuse River, which offers beautiful views. Wear comfortable shoes, as the path may be uneven in some places.
