Train
From Namur train station, take a train towards Dinant. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dinant train station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Rue de la Station. Continue straight until you reach the riverbank of the Meuse.
Walking
From the riverbank, walk along the Meuse River towards the center of Dinant. You will see the impressive Collegiate Church of Notre Dame on your left. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the Pont Charles de Gaulle (Charles de Gaulle Bridge). Cross the bridge, and you will see the Citadelle de Dinant directly ahead on the hill.
Funicular
Once you reach the base of the hill where the Citadelle de Dinant is located, look for the funicular station, which is just beside the bridge. Take the funicular up the hill, and it will take you directly to the entrance of the Citadelle. Enjoy the panoramic views as you ascend!
