If you are starting from the center of Nieuwpoort, head southeast on the Markt square towards the N318 road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the N35 road. Turn left onto N35 and follow it for about 500 meters. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. Once you come to the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Oosteroever. Continue straight for about 300 meters, and you will find Beeld De Poolreiziger - Freddy Cappon 2007 opgedragen aan Dixie Dansercourt located on your right, near the waterfront.

If you prefer cycling and are in the central area of Nieuwpoort, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops. Start at the Markt square and head southeast towards the N318 road. Take a right onto N318 and bike for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Oosteroever.
