If you are starting from the center of Nieuwpoort, head towards the Nieuwpoort-Bad train station. From the station, walk southeast on the N39 road. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Canadalaan road. Turn right onto Canadalaan and continue walking for about 500 meters. The Sanctuary Wood Museum will be on your left at number 26.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Nieuwpoort. From the rental shop, head east towards the coast, then follow the N39 road heading southeast. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto Canadalaan and ride for another 500 meters. The Sanctuary Wood Museum will be on your left at number 26. There are bike racks available for parking.

From the center of Nieuwpoort, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the main square. Take bus number 14 towards Ieper. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Zillebeke stop.
