    From the center of Ypres, start at the Menin Gate Memorial. Head southeast on the Ieperstraat (N308) for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N8, continuing straight. After approximately 1.5 km, you will see a sign for Railway Wood. Turn left onto the unnamed road, and follow it for about 300 meters. The Liverpool Scottish Memorial will be on your right.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ypres. Start at the Ypres Market Square and head southeast towards the Menin Gate.
