Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Nieuwpoort city center, head north on the main road towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the N39 road. Cross the road and head towards the bus stop at 'Nieuwpoort Stad', where you will catch a bus to Bruges. Take the bus number 80 or 79 that heads towards Brugge. After about 30-40 minutes, get off at the stop 'Brugge, Station'. From the bus stop, walk towards the city center. Follow the signs towards the Markt square, and then continue towards Vlamingstraat. The Monk is located at Vlamingstraat 37. It will be on your right as you approach.

From any location in Nieuwpoort, make your way to the nearest bus stop and take the bus to Bruges. Buses 79 and 80 run regularly from Nieuwpoort to Brugge. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Brugge, Station', exit the bus and head towards the city center. You can follow the pedestrian signs or use a map on your phone. Make your way to the Markt square and look for Vlamingstraat. Walk down Vlamingstraat, and you will find The Monk at number 37 on your right.
