    From the center of Nieuwpoort, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at 'Nieuwpoort Stad'. Take bus number 1 towards 'Ypres'. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Zonnebeke' bus stop. From there, walk southeast on 'Vijfwegestraat' for about 15 minutes until you reach Tyne Cot Cemetery & Visitors Centre.

  • Bicycle

    To reach Tyne Cot Cemetery by bicycle from Nieuwpoort, start at the town center and head north on 'Diksmuidestraat' (N35). Continue straight for about 7 kilometers until you reach the junction with 'Vijfwegestraat'. Turn left onto 'Vijfwegestraat' and follow it for another 3 kilometers. The cemetery will be on your right. The entire ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

Turn left onto 'Diksmuidestraat' (N35) and continue walking straight for about 10 kilometers. This will take approximately 2 hours. Once you reach the junction with 'Vijfwegestraat', turn right and walk for about 3 kilometers until you arrive at Tyne Cot Cemetery & Visitors Centre.
