Start from the center of Nieuwpoort at the town square (Markt). Head east on the 'Nieuport' street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Koolhof wandelpad'. Turn left onto 'Koolhof wandelpad'. Follow this path for about 1 kilometer. You will pass through a natural area with beautiful greenery. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Koolhofput. After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Koolhofput, a serene nature preserve.

Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the central bike rental location near the Markt in Nieuwpoort. Head east on 'Nieuport' street, then turn left onto 'Koolhof wandelpad'. The path is suitable for cycling and will take you straight to Koolhofput. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Public Transport

From the Nieuwpoort city center, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 'Markt' (town square). Take bus line 6 towards 'Oostende' and get off at the stop 'Koolhof wandelpad'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance along 'Koolhof wandelpad' towards Koolhofput, which will be just a few minutes away. The total journey may take around 30 minutes including waiting time for the bus.
