    From Ostend Beach, head east on Oosteroeverstraat towards the E40 motorway. Merge onto the E40 and continue for approximately 20 km. Take exit 6 towards Brugge and follow the N31. Continue on the N31 until you reach the city center of Bruges. Once in Bruges, follow signs for the city center and Vlamingstraat. The Monk is located at Vlamingstraat 37, which is a short walk from the main square.

    From Ostend Beach, walk to the Ostend train station. Purchase a ticket to Bruges (Brugge). Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit the station and take bus line 1 or 6 towards the city center. Get off at 'Markt' stop, which is in the heart of Bruges. From there, walk to Vlamingstraat by heading southwest towards the square, then turn left onto Vlamingstraat. The Monk is located at number 37.
