Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Maria Hendrikapark from Ostend Beach, start by heading east on Zeedijk toward Oosteroever. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the N34 (Koninklijke Baan). Follow the N34 for about 1.5 km, then merge onto the R30. After approximately 2 km, take the exit toward Oostende-Centrum. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Platanendreef. Turn left onto Platanendreef, and you will find Maria Hendrikapark on your right. Parking is available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Maria Hendrikapark using public transportation, first, you need to get to Ostend Railway Station. You can take a local bus or tram to the station from various points around Ostend Beach. Once at Ostend Railway Station, look for the bus service number 3 or 4, which heads towards the city center. Get off at the 'Platanendreef' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Maria Hendrikapark. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for the most current timings. A single bus fare is around €2.50.

• Walking

  If you're already in the vicinity of Ostend Beach and prefer walking, head towards the beach promenade and follow it toward the main road. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the N34. At the intersection, cross the road safely and continue on the pedestrian paths leading towards Platanendreef. The walk is approximately 30 minutes, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way. Maria Hendrikapark will be located at Platanendreef 1-2, just a few steps away from the main road.
