From Ostend, head to the Ostend train station (Stationstraat 1). Once there, purchase a ticket for Bruges (Brugge) which is a direct train ride. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Upon arriving at Bruges station, exit the station and head towards the city center following the signs.

At the Ostend bus station (near the train station), take bus number 6 towards Bruges. The bus will take you directly to the city center of Bruges. Make sure to get off at the 'Brugge Markt' stop, which is very close to the Basilica of the Holy Blood. From the bus stop, walk towards Burg square to find the Basilica at Burg 13.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Ostend. Follow the coastal bike path towards Bruges, which is approximately 15 kilometers away. The ride will take about an hour. Once you reach Bruges, head towards the city center and look for the Burg square where the Basilica of the Holy Blood is located at Burg 13.

If you are already in Bruges, you can walk to the Basilica of the Holy Blood. From the Markt square, head east towards Burg square. The Basilica is located at Burg 13, just a short 5-minute walk from the Markt.
