Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Bruges from wherever you are in Hainaut. Use the E40 motorway, which connects major cities in Belgium. Follow the signs for Bruges and take exit 11 towards Bruges. Once in Bruges, follow the signs to the city center. Expect to pay around €3 per hour for parking.
Train
For those using public transportation, take a train from any major station in Hainaut (such as Charleroi or Mons) to Bruges. Check the SNCB/NMBS website for schedules and ticket prices. Upon arrival at Bruges train station, exit and take bus number 1 or 6 from the station to 'Brugge, Markt'. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. From the Markt, it's a short 5-minute walk to De Burg. Follow the signs towards the Burg square.
