Once you arrive at the 'Ieper' bus station, exit the bus and walk straight along 'Kiplingstraat' until you reach 'Grote Markt'. The In Flanders Fields Museum is located at 'Lakenhallen, Grote Markt 34', which will be on your left side.
Train
Head to 'Oostende Train Station'. Take a train to 'Ieper', which typically departs every hour. The train journey takes around 30 minutes. Upon arrival at 'Ieper Train Station', exit the station and walk straight along 'Groot Begijnhof' towards 'Grote Markt'. You will find the In Flanders Fields Museum at 'Lakenhallen, Grote Markt 34' on your left.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Ostend. Head towards 'Koningin Astridlaan', then follow the signs towards Ieper. The ride will take approximately 1.5 hours, following the 'fietsroute' (bike route) signs. Once you reach Ieper, park your bike at the designated area near 'Grote Markt', and the museum is located at 'Lakenhallen, Grote Markt 34', just a short walk from the parking.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, it will take approximately 2 hours from Ostend to Ieper. Start at the 'Oostende Station' and follow the path towards the 'N8' road leading to Ieper. Once you arrive in Ieper, head towards the center and look for 'Grote Markt'. The In Flanders Fields Museum is at 'Lakenhallen, Grote Markt 34', easily visible as you enter the square.
