Walking
If you are in the center of Ostend, start at the Ostend train station. Head northwest on Kapucijnenstraat towards the coast, then turn left onto the beach promenade. Walk along the promenade until you reach the tram stop at Oosteroever. From here, take tram line 1 towards 'Brugge'. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Brugge' tram stop. Once you arrive in Bruges, head southeast to the city center and follow the signs to Minnewater, which is about a 15-minute walk from the tram stop.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Ostend. Start at the Ostend beach and cycle along the coast towards Bruges. Follow the coastal bike path which is well-marked. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will arrive in Bruges. Once in Bruges, head towards the Minnewater, which is located about 2 km from the city center. Look for signs directing you to the Minnewaterpark.
Bus
From the Ostend city center, walk to the bus station and take bus line 6 towards 'Bruges'. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Bruges' bus station. From there, walk to the Minnewater by heading southeast, walking along the main roads and following the signs directing you to Minnewater, which is about a 15-minute walk.
