From the center of Ostend, start at the main train station, Oostende Station. Exit the station and head towards the beach promenade. Walk along the promenade heading north towards the city of Bruges. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the tram stop called 'Oosteroever.' Take tram line 1 towards 'Brugge.' Stay on the tram for approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Brugge' tram stop, exit the tram and walk towards the city center. Head straight on 'Oude Burg' for about 10 minutes until you reach 'Sint-Annaplein.' The Sint-Annakerk will be on your left at Sint-Annaplein 8.

From Ostend, head to the main bus station located near the train station. Look for a bus heading to Bruges. The bus numbers that typically go to Bruges include 1 and 16. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges, get off at the 'Brugge Station.' From there, you can either walk for about 15 minutes towards the city center or take tram line 1 towards 'Oosteroever' for one stop to 'Brugge.' After that, it's a short 5-minute walk to Sint-Annaplein 8, where you will find the Sint-Annakerk.
