Train
From Ostend train station, take a train towards Bruges. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges station, exit the platform and head towards the main exit. Follow the signs to the bus station, located just outside the train station.
Bus
At the Bruges bus station, board bus number 1 or 4 towards 'Brugge Centrum'. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the 'Oostmeers' stop. From there, walk straight ahead on Mariastraat for about 5 minutes. Site Oud Sint-Jan will be on your left at Mariastraat 38.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Bruges train station, exit the station and head west on Stationsplein. Continue onto Marie Popelinplantsoen and then turn right onto Zandstraat. Continue straight onto Mariastraat. Site Oud Sint-Jan will be on your right at number 38. The walk takes approximately 20-25 minutes.
Bicycle
At Bruges train station, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops. Once you have your bike, head south on Stationsplein and follow the cycle path signs towards the city center. Continue along the designated bike lanes until you reach Mariastraat. Site Oud Sint-Jan will be on your left at number 38. The cycling route takes around 15-20 minutes.
