If you are in the center of Ostend, start by heading to the Ostend train station (Station Oostende). Once there, take the train to Bruges (Brugge). The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges station, exit the station and turn left onto the 'Koningin Astridlaan.' Continue straight until you reach 'Korte Zilverstraat.' Turn right and walk until you reach 'Zilverstraat.' Continue straight until you reach 'Vlamingstraat.' Turn left onto Vlamingstraat, and The Monk will be on your right at number 37.

From the center of Ostend, you can take bus line 4 from the 'Oostende Vosseslag' stop towards 'Brugge.' The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Brugge Station' stop, walk straight onto 'Koningin Astridlaan' and follow the same instructions as above to reach Vlamingstraat. The Monk is at number 37.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike in Ostend. Head towards the coast and follow the coastal bike path towards Bruges. This scenic route will take about an hour.
