Walking
If you are in the central area of Ostend, head towards the beach. You can start at the Ostend train station. Exit the station and head straight down the 'Dewaelelaan' street towards the coast. Once you reach 'Zeedijk', turn right and follow the promenade along the beach. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you arrive at 'Albert I-promenade'. Look for the address 'Albert I-promenade 64', where Groot strand is located. It will be on your left side, along the promenade.

Public Transport
From the Ostend train station, you can take a tram to reach Groot strand. Purchase a ticket at the station or from a ticket machine, and board tram line 1 or 3 heading towards 'Knokke' or 'Westende'. Get off at the 'Oosteroever' stop. From there, walk towards the beach and take a left onto 'Albert I-promenade'. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach 'Albert I-promenade 64', where Groot strand is located.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike at one of the rental shops in Ostend. Start at the Ostend train station and head towards the beachfront by following the 'Dewaelelaan' to 'Zeedijk'. Once on Zeedijk, continue cycling west along the beach path. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach 'Albert I-promenade'. Look for the address 'Albert I-promenade 64', where Groot strand is located, which will be on your left side.
