Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Ostend's main train station (Station Oostende), exit the station and head south on Koninginnelaan. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Albert I Promenade. Turn left onto the promenade and follow the coastline until you see the beach. From there, turn right and walk towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with the Oosteroever. From the roundabout, take the exit onto Weststraat, and after a few minutes, you will arrive at Zeeheldenplein, marked by a prominent monument dedicated to fishers and sailors lost at sea.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops around Ostend. Start from the main train station and head south on Koninginnelaan. Upon reaching the Albert I Promenade, turn left and cycle along the coast. As you pass the beach, continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the exit onto Weststraat, and after a short ride, you will find Zeeheldenplein on your left.
