Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Spa, head east on Place Royale towards Rue de la Station. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue du Cerf. Turn left onto Rue du Cerf and walk until you reach the end of the street. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rue de la Rive, which will merge into Avenue de la Reine Astrid. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the train station at Spa-Gérardmont. From there, take a train towards Flémalle and disembark at Flémalle-Haute station. Once you exit the station, head south on Av. de la Gare, and then turn left onto Av. du Fort. Fort Flémalle will be on your right.

• Public Transport

  Starting from the center of Spa, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Place Royale. Take bus number 8 towards Flémalle. The bus ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the Flémalle, Avenue du Fort stop. From there, walk south on Av. du Fort for about 500 meters, and you will find Fort Flémalle on your left.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Spa. From the center of Spa, head east on Place Royale and then follow the path along the river until you reach Avenue de la Reine Astrid. Continue on this road, which will turn into Avenue du Fort as you approach Flémalle. The distance is approximately 6 kilometers, and the ride takes about 25-30 minutes. Fort Flémalle will be on your right as you approach the end of Av. du Fort.
