Walking
From the center of Spa, head towards the 'Avenue Reine Astrid' and walk straight along this road. After about 500 meters, you will see the Spa train station on your left. From there, take a train to 'Monschau'. Note that you may need to transfer at 'Verviers' or another nearby station depending on the schedule. Once you arrive at 'Monschau', exit the station and follow the signs to the town center, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
Bus
From Spa, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on 'Avenue Reine Astrid'. Take the bus number 394 towards 'Monschau'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Monschau' stop, and from there, follow the main road into the town center, which is just a short 5-minute walk.
Bicycle
For a scenic route, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Spa. Head out of Spa on the 'Route de la Hoëgne' towards 'La Hulpe'. Follow the cycling paths towards 'Monschau'. The ride will take about 1 hour, and you can enjoy the beautiful countryside along the way. Once you arrive in Monschau, park your bicycle and explore the charming streets.
