Walking
From the center of Spa, head south on Rue de la Sauvenière towards Rue des Combattants. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la Libération. Follow this road until you reach the train station, Spa-Géronstère. From there, take a train to Valkenburg aan de Geul, which is approximately a 3-hour journey with a transfer at Liège. Once you arrive at Valkenburg station, exit the station and head east on Stationstraat, then follow the signs to Valkenburg's city center.

Public Transport
From Spa, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the center of the town. Take the bus line 394 towards Theux. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Theux train station. From there, catch a train towards Liège and transfer at Liège-Guillemins. From Liège, take a direct train to Valkenburg aan de Geul. This journey will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Valkenburg train station, walk east on Stationstraat to reach the city center.
