Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by heading towards Bruges from wherever you are on The Belgian Coast. Use the E40 motorway and follow the signs for Brugge. Take exit 9 towards Brugge and continue on the N50. Follow the N50 until you see signs for Brugge. Once you enter the city, look for Vlamingstraat, which is located just off the main square. The Monk is located at Vlamingstraat 37, and there is street parking available nearby.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train from your nearest station to Bruges. If you're coming from the coast, you can catch a train from Oostende or Knokke. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit and head towards the bus stop outside the station. Take bus number 1 or 6 toward the city center and get off at 'Markt'. From there, walk towards Vlamingstraat, which is a short 10-minute walk. The Monk will be on your left at Vlamingstraat 37.

• Bus

  If you're already in Bruges and want to take the bus, you can catch a local bus to the city center. Look for buses that stop at 'Markt'. Once you get off at the Markt, walk towards the right side of the square toward Vlamingstraat, which is just a few minutes walk away. The Monk is located at Vlamingstraat 37.

• Walking

  If you are already in Bruges, you can walk to The Monk. Start at the Markt, the central square of Bruges, and head towards the south side where you will find Vlamingstraat. The walk is about 10 minutes. Just follow the street signs to Vlamingstraat and look for number 37 on your left.
