Walking
From the center of Tournai, start at the Grand Place. Head south on Rue de la Tête d'Or toward Rue des Chapeliers. Turn right onto Rue des Chapeliers. Continue walking until you reach Place de l'Evêché. From there, head toward the bus station (Gare de Tournai). You can take bus number 78 towards Fromelles. Get off at the stop 'Fromelles, Rue Delval.' The Australian Memorial Park is a short walk from the bus stop, located at 58 Rue Delval.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Tournai. Start at the Grand Place and head towards the cycle path along the Scheldt River. Follow the path toward the outskirts of Tournai, then take the route that leads to Fromelles. The ride is approximately 12 kilometers and will take around 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching Fromelles, follow the signs to Rue Delval; the Australian Memorial Park will be at 58 Rue Delval.
Public Transport
To reach the Australian Memorial Park by public transport, go to the Tournai train station. From there, take a local train towards Lille and change at the nearest station, which is approximately 20 minutes away. Once you arrive at the station closest to Fromelles, take a bus directly to Fromelles, and disembark at Rue Delval. The park is a short walk from the bus stop.
