Walking
From the center of Tournai, head towards the Tournai Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Tournai). Once you are facing the cathedral, take Rue de la Station heading north. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Carmes. Turn left onto Rue des Carmes and walk until you reach Place de l'Evêché. Continue straight through the square, passing the Grand Place, and take the street that leads to the bridge (Pont des Trous). Cross the bridge and keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Turn right and follow this road until you reach a bus stop named 'Kortrijk'. From there, you can take a bus to Kortrijk. The Broel Towers are a short walk from the bus station in Kortrijk, located at Broelkaai.
Public Transport
Start at the Tournai train station (Gare de Tournai). Purchase a ticket to Kortrijk at the station. Take the train towards Kortrijk, which should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kortrijk station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Stationsstraat). Turn left and walk straight until you reach the bus stop named 'Kortrijk'. From here, you can take a local bus to a stop near Broelkaai. After getting off the bus, follow the street signs towards Broel Towers, which is a short walk away.
Cycling
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Tournai. Start your journey from the center of Tournai and head towards the Tournai Cathedral. From there, take Rue de la Station heading north and follow the same route as you would when walking. Continue through Place de l'Evêché and cross the Pont des Trous. Once you reach Avenue du Général de Gaulle, continue straight until you enter Kortrijk. The Broel Towers will be on your left as you approach Broelkaai.
