Walking
From the central square of Tournai (Place de l'Evêché), head northwest towards Rue de la Station. Walk straight until you reach the Tournai train station. At the train station, take a train to Lille. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lille's train station (Gare de Lille Flandres), exit the station and head south towards the city center. Walk along Rue de Paris until you reach Rue de la Monnaie. Turn left onto Rue de la Monnaie. The Musée de l'Hospice Comtesse will be on your right at number 32.
Bus
From Tournai's central bus station (Gare Routière), take bus line 1 towards Lille. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Lille, get off at the stop called 'Gare de Lille Flandres'. From there, walk south towards the city center along Rue de Paris until you reach Rue de la Monnaie. Turn left onto Rue de la Monnaie, and you will find the Musée de l'Hospice Comtesse at number 32.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental services in Tournai. Head towards the train station and take the bike path following the signs for Lille. The distance is about 25 kilometers and takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you reach Lille, head towards the Gare de Lille Flandres. From there, continue southwards along Rue de Paris, and turn left onto Rue de la Monnaie. The museum will be located at number 32.
