Walking
From the Tournai train station, exit onto Rue de la Station, turn left, and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Carmes. Turn right on Rue des Carmes and continue straight until you reach the Grand Place (Grote Markt). Once at the Grand Place, head towards the large building with the clock tower, which is the Tournai Town Hall. From there, follow the signs towards the 'Pont des Trous' and cross the bridge. After crossing, continue straight along the riverbank until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Reine. Turn left on Rue de la Reine, walk past the shops and cafes, and follow it until you reach the main square of Lille, Pl. Rihour.
Public Transport
From Tournai, head to the Tournai train station and take a train to Lille. The train journey is around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lille Flandres station, exit the station and head towards Place Rihour by following the signs. You can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take the Metro Line 1 from Gare Lille Flandres station to Rihour station. Exit the Metro and follow the signs to Pl. Rihour.
