Start your journey at the Tournai train station (Gare de Tournai). Exit the station and head southwest on Rue de la Station toward Rue des Combattants. Continue straight until you reach Place de l'Evêché. Here, you will see the impressive Tournai Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Tournai). From the cathedral, head northwest on Rue des Clercs, which will lead you to Rue de la Reine. Turn left onto Rue de la Reine and continue until you reach the banks of the River Escaut.
