As you approach the border into France, keep walking until you reach the main entrance of Vieux-Lille. The area is well-marked, and you will see signs directing you to Lille.

From Tournai, you can take a bus to Lille. Head to the Tournai bus station located near the city center. Look for the bus service to Lille; it usually takes about 30 minutes. Once in Lille, get off at the 'Gare Lille Flandres' stop. From there, exit the station and take Rue Faidherbe heading south. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Vieux-Lille. The area is pedestrian-friendly, and you'll see signs indicating the way.

To visit Vieux-Lille by train, start at Tournai train station. Purchase your ticket to Lille Flandres station, which is the main train station in Lille.
