Start at the Grand Place in Tournai. From the Grand Place, head northwest towards Rue de la Tête d'Or. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Chapeliers. Turn left onto Rue des Chapeliers and walk until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and continue along the riverbank, following the path. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for 'carrières de l'Orient' on your right. Follow the path leading into the carrières.

From the Tournai Railway Station, exit the station and locate the bus stop outside. Take bus line 1 towards 'Tournai - La Cité'. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Carrières de l'Orient' bus stop. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of the carrières. Follow the signs indicating the way.
