If you are driving from the center of Valkenburg, head east on the N590 road. Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers, following signs for Liège. Once you reach the roundabout at the intersection with the E25, take the second exit to merge onto the E25 towards Liège. After about 5 kilometers, take exit 36 towards Liège/Ében-Émael. At the traffic lights, turn left onto Rue du Fort. Continue for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Fort Eben-Emael on your left at Rue du Fort 40.

To reach Fort Eben-Emael using public transport from Valkenburg, first, take the train from Valkenburg railway station to Liège-Guillemins station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Liège-Guillemins, exit the station and catch bus line 3 towards 'Ében-Émael'. The bus ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Fort Eben-Emael' bus stop. The fort is just a short walk from the bus stop, located at Rue du Fort 40.
