If you're staying in the center of Valkenburg, the Valkenburg Castle Ruins are within walking distance. Start at the main square, Markt. Head south on the Walramplein and turn left onto the Daalhemerweg. Continue straight for about 700 meters. You’ll see the signs for the castle that will lead you up a slight hill. The entrance is located at Daalhemerweg 27, and it's clearly marked.
