From Namur, head to the Namur train station (Gare de Namur). You can reach the station by walking or taking a bus. If walking, head east on Rue de la Station, and the station will be on your left. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Dinant. Trains to Dinant run regularly, so check the schedule on boards inside the station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dinant station, exit the station and walk towards the river; the town center is a short 10-minute walk.

You can also take a bus from Namur to Dinant. Head to the nearest bus stop with connections to Dinant. The main bus terminal in Namur is located at Place de la Station. Look for buses operated by TEC, specifically those heading to Dinant. The bus journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Dinant bus station, you can walk to the town center by heading south towards the river, which will take about 5 minutes.
