Car
If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Walloon Brabant and navigate to Dinant. Use the A4/E411 highway towards Namur, then take the exit for N92 towards Dinant. Follow N92 into the town. Once in Dinant, follow the signs for 'Citadelle de Dinant'. You will find parking available near the base of the citadel. Please note that parking may incur a fee, approximately €2 per hour.
Public Transportation (Train)
For those using public transport, take a train from any major station in Walloon Brabant to Dinant station. You can check the schedule on the SNCB/NMBS website. Once you arrive at Dinant station, exit the station and head towards the river. From there, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) following Rue de la Station and Rue du Honneur, or you can take Bus number 2 (check local schedules for timing) which will take you closer to the citadel.
Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer to use a bus, you can take a regional bus that connects various towns in Walloon Brabant to Dinant. Check local bus schedules for routes that go to Dinant. Once you arrive at the Dinant bus station, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Citadelle. Simply follow the main road towards the river, then turn onto Chemin de la Citadelle. Make sure to check the bus schedules for return times, as services can be limited in the evening.
