Car
If you're driving in Walloon Brabant, head towards Leuven. Use the E40 highway if coming from Brussels or Liège. Once in Leuven, take exit 24 towards 'Leuven/Heverlee' and continue on the N2 road. Follow signs for the city center. Once you reach the center, look for Rector de Somerplein, where the Fonske statue is located. There is limited street parking in the area; expect to pay around €1.50 per hour.

To reach Fonske by public transport, take a train to Leuven from Brussels, Namur, or any nearby city. Trains run frequently, and the journey from Brussels takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Leuven station, exit the station and take bus number 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Rector de Somerplein' stop. The Fonske statue is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you're already in Leuven, walking to the Fonske statue is quite pleasant. From the city center, head towards the university area. The statue is located at Rector de Somerplein, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Grote Markt. Follow the signs towards the university, and you'll find the statue in the square.
