If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Koekelare. Use a GPS or a map application and enter the address: Clevenstraat 2, 8680 Koekelare. If you are coming from Bruges, take the E403 highway towards Kortrijk. At the interchange, follow the signs for the N32 towards Diksmuide. Continue on the N32 until you reach the Roeselarestraat (N35) and follow the signs to Koekelare. Once in Koekelare, follow local signs to the Lange Max Museum. There is parking available nearby.

For those using public transportation, take a train to the nearest train station, which is in Diksmuide. From Brussels, you will typically need to change trains in either Bruges or Kortrijk. Once you arrive at Diksmuide station, you can take bus line 21 or line 28 towards Koekelare. Get off at the 'Koekelare Clevenstraat' stop, which is a short walk from the museum. Alternatively, consider using a taxi from Diksmuide station, which should cost around 15-20 euros.
