Private Tour 3 Days WWII Dunkirk 1940 and Dieppe 1942 From Paris

Amazing and insightful!

Yves was a wonderful guide and good conversationalist on the route to and from the destinations. Was very insightful and knowledgeable on the tour, he also pointed out places of interest. Would highly recommend Yves as a guide, especially for the Normandy area!

Private battle of Dunkirk Operation Dynamo Tour

Great tour would highly recommend

We had a wonderful guide Emmanuel who was great fun and hugely engaging. Emmanuel took us to the beaches including some of the streets where the 2017 film Dunkirk was shot. We went on to see the points at which the British and French soldiers were evacuated. We saw the oldest church in the area that survived both wars but not without serious damage. Finally we went to the British cemetery which was a hugely somber moment when you see all the Agra’s ranging from about 17-34 on the grave stones. The tour took longer than expected by around 20 mins Emmanuel was absolutely fine with this and was more worried if it was ok for us which of course it was. After our tour and having dropped Emmanuel back, we then had dinner on board the Princess Elizabeth ship which we had booked before coming to Dunkirk. Emmanuel had also taken us to the ship during the tour as it had also evacuated 1673 soldiers during 1940 before being permanently moored in Dunkirk in 1999 and been converted to a restaurant. A very good restaurant!

Vimy Ridge

We enjoyed a wonderful day with our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the wars and the Vimy location. Our visit to my Grandfather's grave from WWI was very moving and handled with dignity, respect and understanding.
