From the Ypres city center, head east on Menenstraat towards the ramparts. Continue straight until you reach the Ypres Train Station. At the train station, take the train to De Haan. The train journey will take approximately 35 minutes. Once you arrive at De Haan station, exit the station and follow the signs to the beach, which is about a 15-minute walk straight ahead. You will pass through the town, and you can ask locals for directions if needed.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Ypres. From the rental shop, head towards the Menenpoort and take the cycle path towards De Haan. Follow the signs for the coastal route, which is scenic and safe for cyclists. The ride is approximately 15 kilometers and will take around 45 minutes. Once you reach De Haan, follow the signs to the beach area.

Start from Ypres city center and walk to the nearest bus stop, located on Menenstraat. Board the bus heading to De Haan. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you get off at the De Haan bus stop, follow the main road towards the beach, which is a short 10-minute walk. Look for signs directing you to the beach area.
