Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Ypres Cloth Hall (In het Stadhuis), located in the center of Ypres. Head east on Grote Markt towards the roundabout. Continue straight onto Menenstraat. After about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at the Ypres train station. From there, take a train towards Lille, France. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lille Europe station, exit the station and head south towards Rue de l'Hôpital. Turn left onto Rue de la Monnaie, and you will find the Musée de l'Hospice Comtesse at number 32.

  • Bus

    From the Ypres Market Square, locate the bus stop at the east side of the square. Take bus line 2 towards Lille. The bus journey will take around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Lille, get off at the stop called 'Rihour'. From there, walk south towards Rue de l'Hôpital, turn left onto Rue de la Monnaie, and you will find the Musée de l'Hospice Comtesse at number 32.
