  • Car

    If you are driving from the center of Bruges, take the E403 motorway towards Lille. Continue on the E403 and then merge onto the A1 motorway towards Lille. After approximately 70 km, take exit 20 towards Lille-Centre. Continue straight on Rue de la République until you reach Voie Piétonne du Bois de la Deûle. The Parc de la Citadelle will be on your right side. There is parking available nearby.

    To reach Parc de la Citadelle from Bruges by public transport, take a train from Bruges Railway Station to Lille Europe. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Lille Europe, exit the station and follow signs for the metro. Take Line 1 towards 'Château d'Eau' and get off at the 'Rihour' station. From Rihour, walk towards Rue de la République and turn right on Voie Piétonne du Bois de la Deûle. The park will be a short walk ahead.

    If you are coming from Ypres, take the N313 road towards the A19 motorway. Merge onto the A1 motorway towards Lille. After approximately 30 km, take exit 20 towards Lille-Centre. Continue straight on Rue de la République until you reach Voie Piétonne du Bois de la Deûle. You will find Parc de la Citadelle on your right. Parking is available in the vicinity.

  • Public Transportation

    From Ghent, take a train from Ghent St. Pieters Station to Lille Flandres Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards the metro station. Take Line 2 towards 'St. Pholien' and get off at 'Rihour'. From there, follow Rue de la République and turn right onto Voie Piétonne du Bois de la Deûle. Parc de la Citadelle is a short walk away.
