Getting There

Walking
From the Ypres Market Square, head southeast toward the Menin Gate. Once you reach the Menin Gate, turn left onto the Ieperstraat. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout at the junction of Ieperstraat and N8. Take the first exit onto N8 towards Zonnebeke. Follow N8 for approximately 4 kilometers. You will see signs for Tyne Cot Cemetery. After about 4 kilometers, turn right onto Vijfwegestraat. The entrance to Tyne Cot Cemetery will be on your left.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Ypres Market Square and head toward the Menin Gate. From the Menin Gate, take Ieperstraat and continue straight. When you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto N8 toward Zonnebeke. Continue on N8 for about 4 kilometers, following the signs for Tyne Cot Cemetery. Turn right onto Vijfwegestraat, and the cemetery entrance will be on your left.

To reach Tyne Cot Cemetery via public transport, go to the Ypres train station. Take the bus number 5 or 6 towards Passendale. Get off at the 'Zonnebeke' stop, which is about 1.5 kilometers from Tyne Cot Cemetery. From the bus stop, walk northeast along Vijfwegestraat for about 15-20 minutes; the cemetery entrance will be on your left.
