Walking
From the center of Ypres, head towards the Ypres Market Square (Grote Markt). Once you reach the square, look for the main street leading out from it, which is called Meenseweg. Follow Meenseweg heading northeast for about 2 km until you reach the train station. At the station, catch a train to Lille, France. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lille Flandres Station, exit the station and head towards Rue de Paris. Walk straight until you reach Place du Général de Gaulle, where La Vieille Bourse is located.
Bus
From the center of Ypres, walk to the bus station located near the train station. Take Bus number 1 towards Lille. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Lille, get off at the stop 'Général de Gaulle'. From there, walk straight ahead on Place du Général de Gaulle to find La Vieille Bourse.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops in Ypres. Head northeast from the city center, following the designated bike paths towards Lille. The ride is about 20 km and will take approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Lille, navigate to Place du Général de Gaulle where La Vieille Bourse is located. Make sure to follow the bike lanes and be aware of traffic rules.
