Train
From Zeebrugge, head to the Zeebrugge-Dorp train station. You can walk there in about 10-15 minutes. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Bruges (Brugge). The train ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Upon arrival at Bruges train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside. Take bus number 1 or 6 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Brugge, Markt' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the Groeninge Museum. Head southeast on Markt towards Langestraat, then turn left onto Dijver, where the museum is located at number 12.
Bus
From Zeebrugge, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 33 towards Bruges. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Bruges, you can either walk or transfer to bus number 6 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Brugge, Markt' stop. It’s a 10-minute walk from there to the Groeninge Museum. Walk southeast on Markt towards Langestraat, then turn left onto Dijver, where the museum is located at number 12.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Zeebrugge. Walk towards the promenade along the coast, then head in the direction of the Zeebrugge-Dorp train station. From there, you can continue walking to Bruges (approximately 15 km). This will take you around 2-3 hours, so ensure you wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. Once in Bruges, navigate to the city center using street signs, and from the Markt, it’s a 10-minute walk to the Groeninge Museum located at Dijver 12.
